Patatine

Una delle cose che mi piace fare quando sono all'estero, ovviamente dopo aver ispezionato la zona shopping, è andare a curiosare nei supermercati locali, per vedere quali novità golose ci sono rispetto alla nostra Esselunga. Devo ammettere che la prima volta che sono entrata da Sainsbury (il nostro supermarket di zona), mi sono sentita un po' persa. Non tanto per le dimensioni del negozio, quanto per il criterio con cui sono esposti i prodotti. Uno dei primi corridoi che si incontrano è dedicato alle patatine e agli snaks in busta. Un corridoio intero solo per i peccati di gola salati. Wow. Non so se anche in Italia ci siano in commercio patatine aromatizzate ai gusti più diversi, non ero una fan di queste prodotti, quindi potrei anche dirvi qualcosa che già sapete. Ma resta il fatto che nei supermercati inglesi si trovano articoli assurdi, scaffali pieni zeppi di schifezze letali, ma buonissime, viva la sincerità. Non trovo che ci sia niente di male nel concedersi un "treat" unto ogni tanto. Aiuta l'umore, gratifica lo spirito e fa tornare il sorriso. Il più è moderarsi.. 

One of the things I like to do when I'm abroad (after inspecting the shopping area, of course), is going to poke around in the local supermarkets to see what news there are respect to our supermarkets. I have to admit that the first time I went to Sainsbury's (our local supermarket), I felt a bit 'lost. Not so much for the size of the store, as well as for the criterion by which products are displayed. One of the first corridors that you meet is dedicated to chips and snaks. An entire aisle just for the sins of gluttony and savory. Wow. I do not know if in Italy there are flavored chips with different tastes, I was not a fan of these products, so I might tell you something you already know. But remains the fact that in British supermarkets there are absurd items, to which are dedicated crammed corridors full of lethal crap, but very tasty, to be honest. But I find that there is nothing wrong in enjoying a grease "treat" occasionally. Helps mood, reward the spirit and brings back the smile. The more is moderate ..

popcorn alla paprika affumicata, formaggio e erba cipollina, sale e aceto

 

dico solo che "prawn" vuol dire gambero..

snak alla cipolla caramellata e formaggio ceddar

aroma al pollo arrosto e timo

vegetali in genere, sotto forma della classica patatina

Beh, questo si capisce.. ;)
